Paradise Resort Gold Coast
Grab your suitcase and head to Paradise Resort Gold Coast for a fun family holiday.
Voted best Family Resort in Australia for the past 9 years, largely due to the Kids Club, ice-skating rink, waterpark and family friendly facilities this resort has been renowned for family fun for close to 40 years.
During the recent closure the entire central resort area which features two giant waterparks, a lagoon pool and spa is being given a complete make-over with both waterparks being re-painted, all the netting replaced and a brand new soft floor being laid. A crowd favourite, the waterpark attractions feature a myriad of slides, water cannons and jets to entertain and engage the whole family, topped off with a giant bucket that fills with 600 litres of water before dumping it on the kids below in one enormous splash!
The onsite Mini-Mart has been completely gutted and will return as a brand new retail and grocery store stocking a wider variety of both boutique clothing and essential holiday needs.
The entire exterior of the resort is being re-painted over the next few months along with a makeover of the reception desk and lobby area with General Manager, Mr Brook keeping exactly what else is being added to this space a secret for a little bit longer. Mr Brook is often described as the Willy Wonka of hotel GMs but if you check their Facebook page it alludes to something new for the mums and dads… so watch this space.
Two giant warterparks complete with jets, hoses and a giant tipping bucket!

Mr Brook took fans on a virtual tour
Mr Brook took fans on a virtual tour behind the scenes to showcase where the team are at and has also promised guests that this is just the start of what was originally meant to be a 3 year renovation plan, guaranteeing that all remaining rooms will be receiving a complete spring clean and general maintenance check prior to re-opening and confirmed that he will continue to renovate these rooms over the next 2 years.
And after consulting their fans and past guests for feedback, they have commenced what will be a complete renovation on the first 66 rooms in Dusty’s Digs which are being renovated from top to bottom with new bathrooms, carpet, paint, flooring, beds, furniture and more. They even donated the furniture out of those rooms to over 150 local families and charity organisations which have pushed them further up the list of things to do and places to visit when isolation ends and made them a clear fan favourite.
Paradise Resort is planning to re-open on Saturday 1st August…provided travel restrictions have been lifted and it is safe to welcome you and your family again by then. Visit www.paradiseresort.com.au
